I'm still alive!

"Did he just watch me poop?" Photoshop CS5 & Wacom Cintiq 12WX

Whoah, can't believe it's this long since my latest post.

Though I should say hi and welcome to all you new visitors and followers on here.

Thank you for the support and sorry for being such a slow-poke! ;)

There are so many things going on right now. Beside my day-job(where I work as a concept artist) I also do some freelance illustrations, personal art for myself, and at the same time trying to live a somewhat descent and social life haha!

It's going pretty well. I'm very busy, but happy :)

Well, gotta go sketch now. I feel the urge.. Promise to get back soon :)

Oh, by the way, I have a question for you guys...

If you could choose, what would you like to read about on this blog?
All feedback are welcome!

 Cheers and see you soon!

    1. Thank you! Tutorials? Allright! :) I have a few smaller ones, which I could post here as well. And I can try to make more in the future!

  2. Pretty! :)

    Here are some writing suggestions:
    - The background story/thoughts about some drawing.
    - How you feel/think about various art-related subjects, like fairytales, the forest, art censorship, Disney and other possible sources of inspiration, etc.
    - What software and hardware your use.

  3. Hey Andrea great to see another post of yours.
I personally would love to see how you start a painting. What is your thought and actual drawing process? So maybe a video with you explaining what you're doing and what you're thinking about.

    1. Hey Neave, thank you :D

Good point! Haven't posted any videos yet, where I actually explain as a go along, but I do have two videos with the process recorded. I could add them on here again, and then try to find the courage and actually record a new one where I explain what I'm doing.

  4. Hi. First of all, I would like to say that your paintings look amazing!I am really impressed.
Since I am still beginner in drawing and digital painting, if I could respond on your question, I would appreciate some tips for beginners like me, where to start and so on. But, of course, it is up to you, how will you decide.
Anyway, thanks for your works, it is very motivating for me. :)

    1. Hey there, thank you very much :D

Tips for beginner? Yeah I could try to come up with something. Otherwise, Matt Kohr's site http://ctrlpaint.com is an absolutely fantastic resource for both beginners and more experienced people. Go check it out! :)

  6. Your art is inspiring please never stop. It makes me excited to start on my children's book about a genetically modified goldfish. I am not a great artist but a great writer, so I struggle getting my words out as images, never forget how lucky you are.

    1. Thank you Stephen!
Likewise. I'm not really good at writing, so I have to draw instead ;) Actually, it's never been about luck when it comes to drawing, even though many people think so. It's about where one puts the effort, really. I've been drawing my whole life, so it's become a lifestyle and something very natural to me :) Just like you and storytelling! I've been improving thanks to my daily drawing habits. That's it :)

I like the idea, sounds funny! :D Wish you the best of luck with completing your storybook!
