My new tutorial in Advanced Photoshop, issue 115

 Advanced Photoshop Magazine, issue 115

Yaaaaay!

The latest issue(115) of Advanced Photoshop Magazine is finally out in the stores here in Sweden(you can find it at Pressbyrån).

This time I had the honor to write a full tutorial of my wolf illustration, from scratch. I even got a spot in the "Pro Panel" of the magazine, where I share some tips and tricks for digital painting.
Me? A pro? Haha wow, feels weird.

I'm very happy with how it all turned out, and I hope that you'll like it too! :)

This is definitely something to cross off my professional bucketlist, writing tutorials for magazines has been a dream of mine for several years now.

2013 has truly been an awesome year so far.
Sooooo busy but yet so much fun.

What's on your bucketlist? I'd love to hear your goals!

Good ones. What's your dream job and what kind of cat do you want?

    2. Do you find that writing tutorials allows you to evaluate your workflow, as in it allows you to deconstruct the way you think as an artist?

My dream job is to work as a concept artist so i'm busy working on my portfolio at the moment. Haha for me any cat will do (but scottish fold is my favourite). I'm sure you'll agree cats rule.

    3. Yeah I definitely think it's helpful, since most of the time, you don't even think about how you managed to make things look a certain way. I'll think that Ill continue to save all the steps in my paintings from now on, since you can always track your workflow, and remember what you did right, and how you can improve next time.

Cool! Ahh, I remember those days too. I had to struggle a lot but all the hard work pays off eventually, no matter what lever you're at when you start.

Those are cute! Yes of course I agree! :D
Fun fact: I was never a cat- person(or that's what I thought), but our two little monsters helped me change my mind haha!

    4. It would be cool if you could make them into a GIF too, something that i've been meaning to do but always forget and overwrite my saves.

One day cats will rule the world!! :)

      Enjoy your weekend!

    5. Good idea! I made a gif ages ago of that caterpillar. here's the link to that post: http://noukah.blogspot.se/2010/05/steps-of-caterpillar.html

You can also find some youtube timelapses if you click the "Time Lapse" category in the sidebar :)

I think that they already are... No cats = no internet.
They'll even figure out how to control the weather, it's probably just a matter of time D:

    1. Perhaps you can look into a subscribtion to Creative Cloud? It's a new solution from Adobe, and instead of buying the license(Photoshop, Illustrator, etc), you simply pay a montly fee and get to use the programs freely.

Good luck with the contest! :)
