Caterpillar yeeeeey. Blue tones are hard.
And appearently I need some sleep. Re-uploaded this one to sketchaholic like 6 times, cause it got either sloppily cropped, or the sig got mirrored (ughh..) or such. But now it's there. All proper and... Done at the moment.

Now sleep!
And tomorrow: keep working on the chicken project. Gonna draw a turnaround of a fluffy lil' chick.

Not much today

Haven't have time for painting traditionally for two days. Have waaaay too much to do for the sideprojects I'm working on.
Just finished up for today, so now I'm off to continue working on my version of the Caterpillar for the chiustream :) I feel so inspired!

Here's a horse WIP for you so you have something to look at meanwhile.

Unfortunately the Ustream didn't work out that well this other day, it kept lagging and disconnecting. Gotta find a better solution for it... Hmpf.
Oh well!

New update

Here's another update of how far I got yesterday.
Started adding some washes of gouache now and build up some details and shapes.
Will post more updates maybe tomorrow :)

Also I'm superhappy, cause my Cheshire Cat piece got into Kei Acedera's 20 favororite pieces in the contest, so I won a limited edition print from them - YAY :) It felt incredibly cool seing her holding up a print of my piece on the chiustream yesterday. Can't thank her too much.

Tiger painting wip

Here's a wip sneekpeek of one of my watercolour paintings.
Not much to see yet, just working on the background so far.

SOME CREDITS: I used this photo (click) for the pose. This guy's animal photos are the best I've seen so far out there, and I often go there for references. Please DO go check out his stuff!

There's a complete blizzard outside, so I chose to skip the stable today :/ I'll spend that time on work and personal paintings today instead. I'll continue working on an illu for a children's book, painting some more on my tyger, start off a new painting of a horse that I'm wanting to make for a couple of days now, and I'll also work on some other larger projects. Go me! Busybusybusy.

Cheshire Cat

Here's a Cheshire Cat that I finished for the current Chiustream contest.
Still experimenting like crazy with styles, technique and proportions. And loving every part of it!
This painting didin't take more than 4 hrs (back and forth by train on my way to work today)

Not much else has happened today. Just been working on that other contest, drawn some really rough storyboards and started a model sheet of a new character.

What I'm currently working on

Hey everyone!

first off, thank you SO much for all the recent comments. I'm so glad you liked the Mooster ;D
I'll try to get back to answer you all personally soon.

Just wanted to show what me and a couple of friends are currently working on. It's for the CGtalk contest: the B- movie, the video category. These pics are digital paintovers that I made of 3D models that the modeler Boba Subin made, based on the concepts drawn by me.

It's a bout three innocent little chickens that get hit by a supersmall-glowing-comet-pebble-thing from outer space. One of them eat it, then the'sre a HUGE explosion and out from the crate comes this giant mutant 3 headed chicken, and it starts terrorising the farm. Hehe.

Other than that, for the past ten days, I've been in Hungary. Just got home to Sweden again. It's been awesome, the food was great and we got to spend time with some relatives we don't meet everyday.
Other than that.. Hmm.. I'm working on lots some personal pieces, hopefully I'll also be able to make a traditional painting soon. I've just picked up on watercolours again, and I'm loving it!
